After your session, your brain is in a state of enhanced neuroplasticity—meaning it’s more open to forming new connections and patterns. Integration helps you make use of that window.
It might involve journaling, talking with a therapist, spending time in nature, setting new boundaries, or simply giving yourself permission to rest and reflect. It doesn’t have to be complicated—it just has to be intentional.
Integration allows you to connect the dots between what came up in your session and what’s happening in your life. Maybe you felt grief and don’t know why—or had a moment of clarity about your purpose. Taking time to reflect, revisit your intention, and notice how your thoughts and emotions shift in the days afterward is a vital part of healing.
It’s also where you may discover areas for deeper work. This is why integration coaching or continued support can be so helpful. You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
